Genre - space rock, psychedelic rock
Genre - space rock, psychedelic rock
Year - 1975
Origin - UK
It's masterpiece and one of my favorites albums ever. From the very beginning you can feel like traveling through the space. Eternal and cosmic atmosphere :) Album is full of great psychedelic, sometimes even a bi trance songs. Except 3 songs with spoken lyrics about "edge of time" motive which I don't like so much - they ruin the atmosphere.
Whole Hawkwind career is worth close looking, it's became one of my favorite bands with their space, trippy, a bit dark and absolutely cosmic style of playing.
Motorhead leader - Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, was bass player and singer of Hawkwind from 1971 till 1975 and he even wrote and recorded song titled "Motorhead" that is included in "Warrior on the Edge of Time" where you can already feel heavy style of future Motorhead. It was his last song made with Hawkwind. Then Lemmy was fired by other members for taking too much drugs (like "motorhead" what means in slang - cocaine addict) and he set up Motorhead even in the same year.
For good sake of rock'n'roll ... :D
Please - check this album out!!! :)
